Objectives

An analysis of the context and the experiences carried out has enabled us to define five major needs: - To train young Europeans for tomorrow's world: development of professional, cultural and linguistic skills, European citizenship, critical thinking, developing self-confidence, autonomy, adaptability and self-training, mastery of digital tools and their evolution. - To excel in the quality of our training by increasing the skills of our staff. - Consolidate and develop the consortium: optimise collaborative work and mutualisation, perpetuate existing partnerships, maintain and deepen monitoring. - Pursue internationalization and innovation: increase knowledge of other programmes and develop partnerships - To better valorise the results and impacts of our actions of education to the worlds and to the others for a better recognition of our establishments at the regional, national and European level. - For the MFRs in French Guiana and Reunion, set up complementary actions for young people and teams who feel remote from Europe.

Background

The FRMFR now Occitanie has submitted its 8th application to the European VET mobility programme. For this project, the consortium includes 12 MFRs from the former Midi-Pyrénées, the Jean Jaurès high school in Carmaux, 3 MFRs from Guyana and 6 MFRs from Réunion and their federations. Over the years, it has thus opened up to Erasmus + Youth, civic service, other territories and other educational families. It has defined an ambitious long-term strategy (until 2022, the end of the programme) which integrates the challenges of the MFR movement, regional challenges and the national and European priorities of social and professional inclusion, the fight against dropping out and radicalisation, and the defense of democratic values. It was built on the basis of the PDEs of each member of the consortium in relation to the orientations of the MFRs of Guadeloupe and the former Languedoc Roussillon with a view to their integration in 2020 and 2021. The common and shared aim was to enable young people in the various territories to integrate professionally and socially, to become committed actors in their lives and their territories by modernizing the establishments and the quality of the training.
