With the implementation of this project, we had the following objectives 1- To intervene at a key moment in the young people's career so that the mobility responds to a precise need and is a source of integration upon return 2- To provide adequate training so that the mobility period is approached in a concrete and practical way 3- Encourage young people to reflect on concepts such as European citizenship, democracy and the need for their commitment 4- To establish partnerships with intermediary organisations in order to be able to offer quality internships, adapted to each individual's background 5- To contribute to the promotion of informal learning as a key element of educational pathways in the youth field 6- To remain a reference in terms of sending and training organisations for mobility in Ile-de-France 7- To systematically include young people with fewer opportunities
With 10 years of experience in the field of European mobility for learning and vocational training purposes, the Maison de l'Europe des Yvelines wanted to apply once again. Indeed, despite the health situation, the positive feedback and the reintegration rates of young people who have been mobile push us to renew the project every year. This also pushes us to adapt and to accompany young learners whose family, social and professional situation excludes them from mobility. In this way, we respond to the strong demand from the Missions Locales of the Ile-de-France region, but also from institutional partners such as the Yvelines Department or the Pôle Emploi. Each new project leads us to renew and strengthen our partnerships with the different actors of inclusion at the territorial level. Our goal remains to create concrete opportunities for professional development in the European space, to bring the dimensions of soft skills and interculturality into the life paths of these young trainees.
