For this 2019-2021 Convention, we planned to maintain the momentum we have been building for several years, by fully meeting the operational objectives set out in our international strategic development plan: increasing mobility for all our target groups and hosting European apprentices, developing transnational training courses and expanding our network of partners. Our ambition is enable up to 1,500 apprentices to benefit from a 3-week short term group mobility scheme, systematically accompanied by their vocational trainer (110 in total). To support more than 230 post-apprentices within the framework of a one-year individual mobility scheme in Europe; to encourage the long-term mobility of apprentices by allowing them to benefit from a 3 to 12-month mobility scheme - while maintaining the logic of a work-study experience in the host country. We also planned to propose up five two-week technical training courses for a total of 66 young people.
Long-term mobility has always existed in our association and the one-year international stage is now an integral part of the Tour de France training. Since 2011, it has been particularly encouraged and in total more than 7100 young people have been able to benefit from this exceptional opportunity. Since 2004, we have also enabled more than 1,760 apprentices to take part in a 3-week work placement in one of the EU countries, in all trades (Industry, Construction, Catering, Flexible Materials, etc.). With this desire to institutionalise our European actions, since 2009 we have also included the mobility of the Bac Pro sections in the framework agreement signed with the French Ministry of Education. The aim of this application was to pursue our international strategy in order to allow each young person in training in our association to benefit from at least one European mobility experience in a training centre or company.
