We are five high schools from different parts of Europe : Spain, Denmark, Poland, Italy and France working on the 17 United Nation Development Goals to transform our world. We will be working for two years with three mobilities the first year and two the second. Each country will focus on two UN goals that are special for them (either because of special interest by the high school or special interests by the area). All the participants will work on assignments and tasks related to these two UN goals in Euro-groups on the project eTwinning Twinspace before the mobility, each delegation will share what they found and show the results during the mobilities, the visits will be organised in relation to these two goals. Thus , Spain will organize studies and workshops about goals 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and 13 (Climate Action) ; Poland on goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production); Italy on goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 15 (Life on Land) ; Denmark on goal 5 (Gender Equality) and 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy)France on goals 14th ( Life Below Water) and 9th (Industry and Innovation) . We will work on the UN goal of education throughout our project, we expect to collect new ideas and inspiration from each school that we will visit and that will be one of our special assignment. We aim at organizing a special Earth Day on sustainable development in each of our schools, preferably in the same week in order to share our findings with the whole school . As a final task we will organize a European students Parliament, where students will be organized in topic groups and based on this, discuss, decide and propose laws to put to the vote. The minutes of this will be sent to each participant's' European Member of Parliament as well as to national and local organizations working on sustainability. At the end of this project we would like our students to feel European , responsible and willing to play an active part in their future and their direct environment. We would like them to feel confident they can work on transnational projects with a European team using ITC tools and English as a working and communicating language. We expect a stimulus in our schools and communities thanks to the sustainable earth Day awareness that could be a showcase of our project but also thanks to the final mock Parliament Session and the minute we will send to our MPs and national and local organizations working on sustainability
We were and remained five high schools from different parts of Europe : Spain, Denmark, Poland, Italy and France working on the 17 United Nation Development Goals to transform our world. This project lasted three years instead of two because of the Covid-19 crisis, and we had to work on two eTwinning Twinspaces and many different students for the same reason. We all had to get very adaptable , for instance, the Italian mobility has been postponed four times. Each country had to focus on two UN goals that were special for them and we did manage this part as planned at the beginning of the project. Indeed, all the participants worked on assignments and tasks related to these two UN goals in Euro-groups on the project eTwinning Twinspaces ,although we got two Twinspaces as the first one got really crammed after some time. Our first Twinspace was here https://twinspace.etwinning.net/91899/pages/page/680004 and the second here https://twinspace.etwinning.net/187323/pages/page/1727721 . Thus , Spain organized , just before the Covid crisis, studies and workshops about goals 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and 13 (Climate Action) ; Poland on goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production); Italy on goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 15 (Life on Land) ; Denmark on goal 5 (Gender Equality) and 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy)France on goals 14th ( Life Below Water) and 9th (Industry and Innovation) . As we thought about this final report, we concluded that our experience is one of the objectives for which the EU was created: being together to overcome difficulties. We think we have improved as teachers, as European citizens and even as persons. Thanks to this project we all think that we may do other Erasmus+ projects and that our students will look forward to participating to other such projects. At the end of the day, all the mobilities and activities have been eventually met. Each partner country addressed the two goals initially planned, we had a mock European parliament session, although not as the final activity as was planned. We could not use the calendar as we wanted so we forgot about Earth Day and our local European Members of Parliament did not have time to come and visit us as we wanted it. However thanks to all these delays more people were included in the project, instead of one group of students being part of it, we all had to have several groups. We had planned to match similar age groups but had to cope with all age groups. Thus 14-year old worked with 18-year old and at the end of the day it was fine. All partners’countries have been working together for four years, all in all as our first application had not been accepted, thus we all know each other very well by now and learnt a lot from each other. Our project management methods and our evaluation methods evolved during the project, got better in many different ways : having students work together, writing an eMagazine together, collaborating in Euro-groups, being efficient as teachers and with groups of forty students from different nationalities, all these got much better.
