International youth mobility has become a key element of public policies of numerous European countries. In France, and especially in Normandy, international mobility is currently gaining importance within the academic career of students of all levels. International mobility is also recognized as a lever to the inclusion and development of youth civic engagement. In a context where populism, withdrawal and anti-European and hate speeches are rising, embodying the reality of the european and intercultural wealth and train youth workers has become for us an educational and civic duty. For youngsters, experiencing international mobility has an even more positive impact when prepared, evaluated and part of a process. Thus, the idea of support is fundamental. The training of youth workers is one of the qualitative factors essential to the experience of youngsters. The context of the NORMANBILITE platform (network of actors working in the field of youth and international mobility) and the inscription of the action in the plan of action carried by the COREMOB (political entity) validates the process as a strategic factor of development and must contribute the improvement of the competences of youth workers and of their organisations. NBMP mainly involves 7 European partners from the program countries (Germany, Turkey, Norway, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania and Spain) and 3 partners from Normandy (CITIM, CRIJ, Maison de l’Europe de l'Eure). The project, following the success of previous similar international training initiatives, is an answer to a clear request made by many organisations and partners throughout Normandy and Europe. Living a meaningful experience and receiving a high-quality training is part of the strategy of our partners. Hosting an incoming international mobility initiative, directly aimed at youth workers, youngsters and their structures, inhabitants and elected officials, contributes to the Normandy development strategy of international mobility and openness on the world. Our objectives are therefore: To live and experiment the methods of non-formal education in an intercultural context; To develop the skills of youth workers to reach a high-quality accompaniment; To make this event an element of local strategies for developing international mobility; To contribute to the awareness of youth and youth workers in Normandy and its territory; To promote trans-sectoriality between formal Education and non-formal Education within the international mobility experience of youngsters; To ensure the consistency of the action between the international cooperation of territories, structures and institutions, and launch new partnerships; To train with peers; To design and test together methods and tools for raising awareness on international mobility; To facilitate the meeting and the communication between participants and between the participants and the Norman partners; To value incoming international mobility, and welcoming others in general. The objectives of NBMP are consistent with the general objectives of the Erasmus+ program: personal development, employability, awareness on cultural openness, improvement of one’s competences, attractiveness and international dimension of active organizations, reinforcement of synergies and cross-sectoral transitions. The international team of 5 professionals (formal education and non-formal education) will host this action in its different phases (preparation with the PAX, training and follow-up/dissemination)
