We wish to organize a youth exchange from 11 to 22 July 2019, by the sea. The group will be lodged in tents at Chevrets campsite in Saint Coulomb (35) We will propose a program of activities focused on the discovery of the marine environment, its richness but also its fragility. The idea is on the one hand to make young people aware of the environment, respect for biodiversity by proposing activities around St Malo and Cancale: - educational workshop at the Aquarium of St Malo to talk about the oceans and the climate, - visit of an oyster farm to discover the bay of Cancale, its fauna, its flora, - outing to meet the dolphins to discover the richness of the oceans, - hiking in the Mont St Michel bay to talk about global warming, our environment, - fishing on foot to discover the coastline, - aquatic gym to discover the bay otherwise. We will build on our program of activities to develop our MAIN objective which is to make young people aware of Europe and to try to answer the question: WHAT EUROPE DOES FOR ME? Each national group will have, before arriving in France, studied 1 or 2 days of the program of activities. Based on the site newly created by the European Parliament's research service "WHAT DOES EUROPE FOR ME", they will dissect the program of the day and then tell the rest of the group how Europe has affected our everyday lives. What is the impact on our jobs, our families, our health care, our hobbies, our travels, our safety, our consumer choices and our social rights? And how is Europe present in our cities and regions? During the stay, for 20 to 30 minutes, a group will have to read the program, present the result of his work for the day. They will undoubtedly approach: - the European funds for the realization of the works for the desensablement of Mont St Michel - the European fisheries policy after the visit of the oyster farm - the EU's environmental policy, the fight against global warming after visiting the aquarium - rules on the cleanliness of bathing water after our aquatic gym - rules on transport by bus, air, etc. In parallel: We will participate, at the end of our stay, in a regatta of cardboard boats and will integrate in the proposed program fun workshops, to build our boats while promoting the living together, the good mood, the exchange of ideas, the creativity and the development of skills. We will insist even more on the interculturality and to go beyond the simple international evening. We will integrate young people's games, games and animations to address cultural differences. We will suggest to the young people to prepare before the stay the creation of videos, skits or others, to illustrate their typical day in their country (leisures, school, food, evenings between friends, ....) and to be able to organize during the stay, discussions about our differences, our snapshots, and all the questions that come out of these presentations. OBJECTIVES COMMON TO ALL OUR EXCHANGES - Prioritize the methodology and the learning process rather than adding activities, workshops, taking measurements or developing statistics to prove certain facts, - To associate young people with the preparation, the organization, the progress of the stay, - Promote the ERASMUS + device and more broadly the European Policy
