Objectives

At a time where there is mistrust in globalization (creation of inequalities, standardization), young people need to confront otherness in order to forge their own points of view. They realise that they need to acquire intercultural skills in order to be able to solve transnational issues, such as environmental issues, which require cooperation and solidarity. Our project is an exchange of young people carried out with 21 teenagers (14-17 years old) of three countries. The main topics of this exchange are interculturality, interdependence and protection of the environment and biodiversity. The exchange lasts 11 days, including the travel time. The project involves teenagers who are building their identity and their future project with a strong identification with a peer group. We want young people to gain self-confidence and the group to have a positive and a benevolent impact on every one of them. Our project responds from the first to the last objective of Erasmus+ Education training in the sense that, through their participation, young people will acquire intercultural skills and a curiosity towards the other languages, which are essential to build social cohesion at a European level. We want to prepare young people for tomorrow's future and support them in their life journey. The project's objectives are the following ones: ● to reach young people who are further away from mobility (who have travelled little); ● to work in an international team in an horizontal way on the design and elaboration of the stay, meeting all the needs; ● to make young people live the Activity as a way of non-formal learning and not as an exclusively commercial good; ● to make each person an actor/actress of their stay; ● to enable participants to take initiatives and acquire knowledge, skills and know-how related to the environment and the management of cultural diversity. The planned activities are of 3 types: - Time for collective practice: practice of activities, enhancement of the intercultural dimension, use of different means of expression, work on the question of the environment, the realization of 2 days of immersion internships in local structures related to the environment in groups of 3. - Time of collective life. - Assessment and self-assessment time These 3 types of activities will create secure spaces to develop the expected skills and knowledge. The practice of activities will combine leisure time, visits and working time on the subject. The management team will implement many tools to ensure that each participant is an actor and actress during his or her stay.
