Objectives

The project aims to encourage young participants to understand the challenges of each country, promote intercultural dialogue, develop their ecological awareness and improve their skills (multilingualism, transmission of information...). 12 young journalists from the 3 cities - through recordings, reports, portraits and interviews with the structures, institutions and people concerned - will have to grasp the emerging local issues and initiatives around the European migration issue. This exchange will also be an opportunity to work on the social, ecological and cultural issues of each country, in particular the opening of Europe to the Balkans. Two young political scientists, from the Burgundy Balkans Express association (made up of young expatriates from the Balkans), will lead conferences with the local actors concerned (cultural and political structures, artists). The complexity and cultural uniqueness of the Balkans and the geopolitical challenges of their potential annexation to the EU will be highlighted. As food is an object of conviviality and an important theme in the migration issue, itself linked to ecological, economic and social issues, 3 young chefs from the 3 countries, chosen for their ethical value, will go together to meet migrants, producers and cooks. Together, they will conduct workshops of experimentation and gastronomic exchanges and will allow the actors of the project to have a meal. The full follow-up of this experience will be interviewed and transcribed by the journalistic team. Music is certainly one of the most accessible and unifying gathering points of cultural identities. The project will involve one of the most promising amateur groups in each city in the process of professionalization (16 people in all). They will provide an opportunity to gather at concerts and celebrate this moment of sharing in a friendly and symbolic way. The objectives of the project are as follows: -The young people involved in this project must understand, analyse and compare through intercultural dialogue the issues at stake in an important chapter of the EU that is currently being written. -Young people will have to reflect within their discipline on migration issues and the future of the EU by learning freely, by becoming aware of local issues. -They will need to acquire the skills to manage an international project by working on writing, synthesizing and exchanging their ideas while practicing several languages. -The project will facilitate their integration into the labour market (the majority of the young people involved are unemployed and will thus be able to gain experience in their fields of action). -Observe and convey positive images of the territories -Develop cooperation -Offer moments of solidarity -Work on the integration effort Write multi-handed media materials and offer them a wider visibility -Work on their personal development
