The project "Between Sea and Land" is an artistic meeting between 37 young European from Greece Turkey and France. More than half of the participants are disabled, all participants are engaged in a regular artistic creation practice . The project will seek to create an "In between" that tries to overcome any difficulties arising from a situation of disability or a fragile situation related to migration. Mutual support and acceptance, solidarity, and sharing are values adressed by this project. The sea will allow to set up activities where the overlimiting, the iner - relation , the self confidence will be approached, while respecting the rhythm of each one; With their experience in the "Dancing the Sea" project in 2018 in a previous exchange , the organizers will be inspired from the Creative Europe leaded by DK-BEL in 2015 "Drops of Breath" project, the world's first underwater choreographic performance to raise awareness of underwater dance to participants, disabled or not, refugees or not. For the latter, it will be for some of them a reconciliation with the marine world, which can bear bad memories. Underwater diving times and "terrestrial" dance times will be organized which will result in a restitution between Sea and Earth in public space. Throughout the project, Boys and Girls relationships will be tackled with a high point : the projection of the documentary film "Laisser moi Aimer" from the Franco-German ARTE TV Channel and the round table that will follow "To Desire - To Exist". It also shows that everyone, even the most vulnerable, can find a place in today's European society. We build an European network of young people who share all of these generrous values.
