The acronym “P.R.I.M.E.” stands for Participatory Research on Impact Measurement and Evaluation. The project is addressed to young staff members, activists and volunteers of organisations belonging to intercultural organisations, NGOs and members of the International Voluntary Service (IVS) movement. Its aim is to provide them with specific skills that will be delivered during a 5-day international training course in June 2019 facilitated by experts on impact measurement and non-formal education. The expected result of the project is to create the profile of “young researchers”, who will put into practice their social research competences in grass-roots, voluntary projects focused on social inclusion and carried out by their sending organisations. The specific objectives of the training are: - to explore the intercultural dimensions of IVS projects and of field research, as well as the notion of social inclusion; - to empower participants and their organisations through the acquisition of competences related to qualitative methodology of social research, such us collection of data through surveys, interviews, observation, interpretation and evaluation of results; - to allow organisations to evaluate the quality and the impact of their social inclusion projects, showing evidence of their effectiveness and providing visibility to the issues concerning their target group, especially young people with fewer opportunities, migrants and refugees.
