The cities of Toulouse and Zaragoza are linked by a cooperation agreement, one of the components of which is to develop cultural partnerships between the two territories. The young people of the Lido circus school (Toulouse) and those of the Escuela de Circo Social (Zaragoza), who practice the circus as amateurs several hours a week, are part of a learning process that helps them to develop and surpass themselves. We wish to establish a solid cooperation between our two schools, which will allow us to progress together around the theme of the social circus, by allowing the animators to re-examine their pedagogical practices and by allowing young people to become aware of their capacities to share their knowledge and progress together, beyond linguistic and cultural differences. The project consists of: -to welcome for a preliminary visit, a coordinator and a teacher of the "Escuela Circo Zaragoza" (ECZ) association from Zaragoza to the Lido in Toulouse in June 2019 -then to organize a mobility of young people from Zaragoza to Toulouse in July 2019, -and a mobility of young people from Toulouse to Zaragoza in July 2020. Participants will be involved together in cultural activities designed to facilitate the discovery of the other's culture and language. They will work on a joint creation that they will present to the families and residents of the district. The supervisors will also discuss good circus practices, in particular from the perspective of the social circus, thus seeking to enrich the pedagogy of both teams.
