Young people under the age of 25 are the most affected by unemployment. This unemployment even more severely affects young people without any qualification. The projet we propose to set up is to raise awareness of the green jobs for the young people who are interested in the topic of the exchange, also for the young people in social, economical difficulties or in research of their professional way. Indeed, the green jobs (agriculture, eco-housing, maintenance of natural spaces, etc.) concern many areas where many of them are in expansion. This is a possible way to integrate young people. Since six years, an environmental education organization 3PA (Penser=Think, Parler=Talk, Partager=Share, Agir=Act) has developed a project named “European school of the ecological transtion” [ETRE]. The aim of the school ETRE is to allow to young people to discover the possibilities/opportunities of the work in the field of the green economy, the energy transition and green jobs and if they are interested to offer them a trainings, interneships, etc. Green jobs are available in all the levels of the diploma what can be helpful to increase the interest in the topics about environment and sustainable development but in the same time it could help to increase number of professional trainings for the young people in this field. Today, we wish to bring an European dimension in our project by sharing our knowledge of these jobs and its potential as part of a youth exchange Erasmus +. Eventually, the aim is to pool the knowledge and skills of each country in order to optimize opportunities in this sector and promote he employability of young people in the European labour market. In the coming years, our goal is to organize meetings between professionals from the sector of the environment, education and integration at the European level. This will make it possible to work on setting up a project on a European scale in order to promote the integration of young people through the sustainable development professions. Six countries are involved in this exchange: France, Germany, Algeria, Czech republic, Spain and Greece. We would like to create a common culture on the issues of sustainable development and energy transition. We hope that young people from all these countries, through meetings and sharing will become ambassadors of environmentally friendly society and they will try to share their knowledge at the national, European and international level. This project is an initiative that we hope fits into an overall dynamic that we have initiated several years ago and which is part of our educational approach in the field of environment. Project named ETRE lead by organization 3PA aims to bring all the publics together and involve them in the ecological and energy transition. The project is fully in with the EU2020 aims, particularly with the part of the inclusion of youth in the active fight against climate change. It is in this philosophy we would like to integrate this project.
