Sixteen young people from Bègles are going to exchange with sixteen young people from Collado Villalba in Spain around the theme : « A diverse earth to be preserved » The project and the theme were initiated by Bègles who wished to return the August 2018 invitation of the young Spanish and make them discover their town and their region. Their stay is organised and managed by the town twinning association Begles Fraternité. By the means of workshops and common activities the young people will become aware that they have to behave with respect and tolerance with eachother on the one hand,, and on the other hand, global warming being unquestionable nowadays they will be incited to think about their responsibility concerning their overconsumption of water and draw the lessons from that thinking. Through the inter cultural dimension they will be able to develop open-mindedness and social skills such as ability for integration, for team work, for resolving problems. Group life will reinforce their skill for autonomy and the taking of initiatives. Within ten days, the partners have to swift from awareness to actions which will be easy to integrate in their project.
