Objectives

"Food is an important theme in our international projects, whether on our sites or in our youth exchanges, because it cuts across many aspects of community life and interculturality. convivial moments, the opportunity to raise awareness of the different issues related to the food: where does the food come from, how we tried to promote an eco-friendly diet and its producers, how to avoid waste and packaging, etc. We want to implement this project to make young people aware of their role as consumers and to imagine with them the good practices that are easy to implement every day to become "Eco-Citizen". Beyond the environmental impact created by our way of feeding us (plastic waste, global warming, soil pollution), food can also act on social links, on the development or not of a local economy, but it is above all an area where consumers have the power to act and make a real difference. Today, the ticket we deposit in the ballot box has more impact than a vote. This new project aims to raise awareness about the food cycle and the role we can play as a consumer. On the basis of the permaculture method, we will analyze our food environment, the actors and the opportunities that arise in European countries. The group will propose its ideas of good practices for a local and responsible food on the village of St Caprais de Bordeaux. The project will consist of three steps: 1. Work on the food problems with the group; 2. Have the group meet with local producers and initiatives related to food. 3. Writing a guide with all existing food solutions as a consumer and what can be on the village of St Caprais de Bordeaux. The project's objectives: The purpose of this youth exchange is to educate the group on how permaculture can help us think that food is an interconnected issue. Specific objectives of the project: - make young people aware of access to quality food for all - introduce young people to the design, methods and practices of permaculture; - Create a booklet on local food and permaculture - Organize a forum on local food
