Type of project: Youth Exchange Title: Let's Dance: dancing without borders Partners: - ASSOCIATION DRUM BATTANT (France); - EURO SUD (Italy) - A.D.E.L. - ASSOCIATION FOR DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION AND LABOR (Slovakia) - ASOCIACION BUILDING BRIDGES (Spain) - ASOCIACIJA APKABINK EUROPA (Lithuania) - Doinita Dance Studio (Romania) Place: La Vancelle (Strasbourg), France Dates: October 19 to October 25, 2019 Summary and context of the project: The project "Cultures d'Europe, dance as a meeting point" is a youth exchange on the theme of dance. It aims to provide young participants with skills in the field of dance and artistic expression in general. It also aims to promote a better intercultural understanding between young Europeans, to raise awareness of the themes of European citizenship, through different activities based on formal and non-formal training methods. The youth exchange has four objectives: 1. Acquire or reinforce participants' knowledge in the fields of music and dance; 2. Discover the traditions and cultures of the countries involved in the project through traditional dance; 3. To strengthen the sense of belonging to a European community brings together in its diversity; 4. Improve the skills of participants in foreign languages, especially the French and English languages The youth exchange will take place at the House of Youth and Culture of Vancelle where participants will be actively involved in several activities with the support of formal and non-formal methods such as: working groups, workshops, round tables , role plays, focus groups, open sessions and presentations. Participants will have the opportunity to establish new friendships and contacts at the European level. The project partners will support young people in the development of new networks to promote future European projects in the field of art, dance and youth mobility
