The aim of the "Better Future" Youth Exchange is to make young Europeans aware of the impact of humans on the planet and the challenges of sustainable development. Increasingly interested in the environment and the means of action within our reach to protect it, young Europeans, however, have unequal knowledge on this subject according to their interest, but also their environment, their country and their level of education. . They do not always know how small daily actions can affect our eco-system. In any part of the world, each of us is confronted with the consequences of climate change and many individuals develop certain practices to reduce their electricity consumption, consume local products, create short circuits ... That is why, every day, new initiatives of local communities are emerging to reduce our ecological impact on the planet. However, if nobody communicates on these, these ideas remain only where they are created and do not benefit the international community. This project has therefore aimed to bring together young people from different cultures and backgrounds to exchange and discover more about this subject around non-formal learning workshops, fun games and practical situations in direct contact with nature. The exchange with experts on the subject, and young people from different backgrounds who have a different perspective on this theme may allow young people to consolidate their knowledge, but also to have an eco-citizen awareness that will result in personal commitments beyond the scope of this project.
