The main goal of this project is to raise awareness of young people regarding the similarities and differences between cultures in order to enlarge their intercultural horizon, thus promoting diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue and allow participants explore in a practical way old tradition of different cultures to foster tolerance. The project specific objectives are: 1. Offer practical abilities, specific competences and experiences related to each culture of the 8 partners countries, to help the 32 participants of the youth exchange to get out of their “cultural comfort zone” and discover the multitude of cultures surrounding them with the help of sessions that use experiential learning; 2. Increase cultural knowledge and skills of the 32 participants by involving them in practical workshops of creating traditional crafts/objects from each of the 8 participant countries in the exchange; 3. Develop the 32 participants’ ability to understand how the surrounding culture influences our daily life by creating a space where they can explore the core elements that form a culture; 4. Enhance on a long-term participants’ tolerance and respect towards other cultures in order to reduce negative effects such as discrimination and stereotypes; 5. Promote the diversity of cultures in Europe and abroad, while ensuring social inclusion, identity-building and civil empowerment among the 32 participants during a 10 days youth exchange;
