Objectives

European citizenship, BREXIT and youth mobility are the mains themes for this exchange of the Espace Centre Calais, which includes 20 young miners between the ages of 13 and 17 and 4 mentors. Starting from the desire of young people to discover British culture and the desire of teams to get involved in a new project, a real methodological challenge, we proposed this Erasmus + project in 2 8-day exchange, in April 2019 and July 2019, based on a reciprocity in order to discover and make people discover our cultures and our common reflections on this future of young Europeans of which we are so much talking. INITIAL OBJECTIVE The Espace Centre de Calais Youth Starting Project was to discover the UK in “youth stays”. As the discovery, training and involvement of the teams on the Erasmus+ programme, we have surpassed the “classic” approach of working on the exchange of young people. The journey’s vision, such as the theme, activities, partnership and willingness to create a reciprocity, has become a reality as we develop together the program’s expectations, objectives and learning.
