The goals of this project were to improve the School quality through improved new teaching methods, use of ICT tools, Curriculum innovations through raising and encouraging the creativity of teachers and students. By sending 8 teachers on mobilities, we wanted to disseminate their knowledge and skills so that they could be applied in daily work and integrated into the School's Annual Plan and Curriculum. The plan was to improve the curricula by applying new approaches and methods, to design the curricula of new or improved extracurriculars with cooperation and correlation: (1) language area (Croatian, English and German, eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects of the School), additional language classes and media group (journalists and film), eTwinning group, Erasmus+ group and English Club; (2) Media and IT field: Curriculum innovation of the film, IT and eTwinning group and IT teaching; (3) sports through the introduction of new sports groups; (4) In the field of art: the innovation of the Curriculum Photo and drama group, local heritage group with the application of the CLIL method; (5) International cooperation: to educate teachers how to do e-learning platforms, collaborate in eTwinning projects and use ICT in teaching.
In this project, we worked on developing the competences of teachers, and thus indirectly of students, in three key areas: ICT tools and digital skills, new teaching methods along with Curriculum innovations and creativity all through the activities of job shadowing of partner institutions, teaching assignments and structured courses abroad. Strengthening the creativity of employees and students was necessary in order to raise multiple and lifelong skills through creative workshops and activities, to nurture interpersonal relationships, friendship, cooperation and tolerance, through regular classes, extracurricular activities and workshops. In ICT area, we wanted to empower teachers and students in creating quality digital and video content for classes with their editing and optimization for uploading to the Internet so that we could design online open digital content on the School's website and courses for students. By creating digital resources, we wanted to improve the School Curriculum, media and digital literacy through which social, civic and intercultural competences such as responsible behaviour on the Internet, anti-bullying, discrimination and other topics of the students' choice will be developed.
