By implementing the project, i.e. student mobility, we wanted to improve the quality of practical knowledge acquisition through work-based learning. The goal is to improve the basic competencies and priority skills of students in order to enhance their employability and enable the acquisition of the necessary knowledge and skills to independently engage in certain activities in a sustainable and profitable way. Our specific objectives were divided according to different target groups: Students - Acquisition and increase of professional and entrepreneurial competences, familiarization with new technologies, increase of language and personal competences, increase in employability. Teachers - Getting to know the foreign educational system, training in the application of new production technologies, strengthening entrepreneurial, language and management skills, strengthening professional competences, encouraging creativity. School level - introduction of innovative approaches to learning and teaching, introduction of creative methods in teaching, improvement of teaching methodology, increase in the quality of teaching, internationalization of the institution, exchange of experience, professional cooperation.
Secondary school "Arboretum Opeka" applied for the project because we want our students and professional teachers to be innovative and educated farmers, entrepreneurs and restaurateurs and to contribute to the economic development of the region. Through mobility they learn about the use of new technologies, they follow trends and principles and become competitive on the European market which is looking for an organically produced and quality product. By participating in the project and cooperating internationally, the participants will acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as ideas for the production of local products, product branding, the use of new technologies, and marketing methods. Participation in the Erasmus+ project increases the attractiveness of agricultural and veterinary programs, and the culinary profession and improves the image of the school. The acquired knowledge and experience will be used in further development of the school through higher quality and more modern teaching. Mobility of participants is an important part of the development and modernization of the institution. The basis of this project is cooperation, sharing and learning with the help of new technologies.
