By implementing this project, our goal was to further improve the professional competences of students in the field of agrarian technologies and agribusiness based on the example of the Slovenian economic sector, to improve language and cultural-pedagogical competences, to ensure the transfer of examples of good practice from the Slovenian economic sector to the curriculum of the Agricultural School Zagreb, as well as to create good foundations for continuing cooperation and developing partnership relations in new projects with the host school. The goal was to enable the participants to strengthen their professional and personal capacities through mobility, which results in a better quality of the teaching process at school. The goal was to contribute to the internationalization of the teaching process in our institution, and also to promote the idea of mobility inside and outside the institution.
Our school has many years of experience in writing and implementing EU projects. She successfully implemented 15 EU projects, when it comes to mobility projects, the school implemented 5 mobility projects. Through these projects, she gained great experience in management, which was a guarantee of our readiness to successfully implement all project elements on this project as well. The project team of our school believes that every exchange of young people and their stay in a foreign environment improves their professional and personal competences, and makes the school more attractive and also provides additional value in the context of modern and quality education. This was the main reason why we applied to this public call with the idea that 15 of our students, accompanied by 2 teachers, travel to Slovenia, to a school with the same long-term experience in the implementation of EU projects and a tradition in the agricultural sector, and improve their competence there. Accompanying teachers there get to know the Slovenian education system and after returning from mobility they implemented their knowledge in their work.
