Youth exchange will be implemented from september 2nd until septmeber 8th 2019. in Ozalj, Croatia. All the participating organisations agree that cultural awareness is a key factor to promote active citizenship to youth. Implementing this project will make its participants empowered to beat cultural challenges. All the sessions, discussions and activities planned have clear objective of developing cultural knowledge of participants which will result to stronger and more tolerant community. The main objective is to give the young people space for self-expression towards other cultures, to give them a chance to discover their and others' cultures, to see and think beyond their cultural barriers and dogmas. Implementing this project we will achieve having skilled youth not hesitating to communicate and collaborate with other cultures and as youth is the driving force of every community we will achieve having more open and courageous society not afraid of cultural challenges. Other objectives include sharing the information about Erasmus + mobility as well as to develop the key-competences of participants such as learning to learn, social and civic competences and sense of initiative. The happening of this project itself will raise interest in local community of Ozalj toward opportunities the EU gives to young people and will make it clear that if the youth has a good idea they will always find a way to fund and implement it.
