During this youth exchange we will motivate youngsters to explore and critically think about the cultures of all their countries, as well as the countries of the other participants in the exchange. We want to gather young people trough non-formal and informal education to think about which cultures (and minority groups) are responsible for today's culture of their country, how they have enriched that culture. On this way, we will sensitize these young people to new global change and migration in order to prevent the potential future radical attitudes of young people who will participate in the exchange, but, also, indirectly to those young people in the local communities to which they will influence, through the exchange of the new knowledge. Through the contact and interaction with young people of different backgrounds, from different countries, with different possibilities - young people will be familiar with diversity, discover the benefits of it, and better understand the people (youth) that are different from them. The overall goal of the project is to sensitize young people to diversity through interaction with young people from different countries in order to prevent potential radical youth attitudes. Specific objectives are: Educate 30 young people about the cultures of 5 countries that will participate in the exchange To inform and educate 30 young people how different cultures in the past have influenced the dominant cultures of these 5 countries To increase the level of intercultural dialogue and understanding through cooperation between young people from different countries To inform young people about differences in order to be more willing to accept them and to be more open for inclusion of different people in their local community To motivate young people to actively engage in solidarity and inclusion initiatives in their own communities
