The main objective of the project is the dissemination of knowledge to the students, professors and other enthusiasts in the field of new trending technologies of CAD modeling, 3d printing, and Virtual reality. The special focus is on the target audience of technical school, vocational industrial school. The main idea of the project is the development, design, and transfer of the innovative specialized skills and tools used in the fields of additive technologies, robotics and virtual reality into the vocational education sector through the development of specialized education modules. Implementing blended learning, in other words coupling online self-paced learning with practical offline training" would greatly facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and skills in fast-paced technologies and would, thus, be a benefit to teachers, learners, and other interested users. The expectations of the project users are focused on the rapid acquisition of skills and knowledge in order to make the acquired knowledge relevant and in line with new trends in the industry. Special attention will be paid to designing suitable materials for blind and visually impaired people as well as people with physical disabilities. The universality of application would easily ensure the exchange of expertise, experience and good practice with partner organizations in Croatia and abroad. This project will create a prototype learning system, that can evolve rapidly, to suit the needs of fast-paced technological improvements, and ensure the expertise is rapidly provided to future generations of VET learners in Croatia and abroad.
The overall concept underpinning the project comes from observing the current societal situation and demands on the educational sector. In the future education system of Europe, the 4.0 industry or the Internet of things (IoT) has a crucial role. The learning experience and education for digital media are becoming a priority, not only in school education but also in the classroom itself. 3D printing or 3D technologies are disseminated through the project as a significant example to realize that. The practical application of this can be incorporated into a wide variety of school subjects to simplify the often-difficult theoretical concepts for students. One of the main objectives was to introduce new technologies in VET education and promote the importance of it. This technologies will have more important role in the future and will lead to profound economic and social changes through technology, and there is little doubt this will lead to the emergence of new fields of work, and novel jobs. Overall objective was to support schools and teachers who want to integrate 3D and VR in education, since the implementation of it in schools is stagnating due to the lack of knowledge and the project addressed this challenges with the results.
The main objective of the project is the dissemination of knowledge to the students, professors and other enthusiasts in the field of new trending technologies of CAD modeling, 3d printing, and Virtual reality. The special focus was on the target audience of medical and technical schools in the area of VET. The main idea of the project was the development, design, and transfer of the innovative specialized skills and tools used in the fields of additive technologies, robotics and virtual reality into the vocational education sector through the developed specialized education modules. Implementing blended learning, in other words coupling online self-paced learning with practical offline training greatly facilitated the acquisition of new knowledge and skills in fast-paced technologies and, is a benefit to teachers, learners, and other interested users. The project users proved rapid acquisition of skills and knowledge, in line with new trends in the industry. Special attention was paid to designing suitable materials for blind and visually impaired people, which had proven the inclusion dimension of the project.
