Basically, we have identified three areas for improvement in our application. We considered it important to boost school enrollment, to increase the number of students, which we wanted to achieve by applying the newly acquired strategies, disseminating the project as widely as possible, and emphasizing the school's willingness to innovate. The fact that the number of students enrolled increased by 80% in the 2021/22 school year is, I think, a significant increase. (We enrolled 75 students in the previous school year and 136 students in the 2021/22 school year.) One of our key goals was to raise the standard of professional work in our institution, which is definitely promoted by the application of innovative, newer methods and good practices. The integration of the use of web interfaces, applications and technology in everyday teaching, which is used as widely as possible in teaching, has a positive effect on the teaching-learning process. The newly gained experience and the methodological refreshment of the teachers help to motivate the students to train professionals who are committed to the profession. We considered it important that with the help of the new methods, our colleagues encourage our students to think creatively and critically, and to succeed in expanding the learning process in space and time with the help of modern technology. The development of language competencies is essential in today's world, we wanted to strengthen the need of participating colleagues to learn languages, as well as to make them more open, accepting and adaptable. Of course, our goals included expanding international relations and strengthening international cooperation.
With this application, we wanted to enable our teachers to gain experience abroad, with the help of which we could promote the raising of the standard of professional training in our institution. We would like the majority of interested, motivated students to come to our school, who and whose interest and commitment to the profession can be maintained until the end of the training. In order to be able to transfer knowledge to them and develop their competencies with such methodology and tools, we have to adapt to the changed needs and circumstances. Today's young people need to be approached differently, they have a lot of stimuli in everyday life, and the teaching-learning process must be adapted to this. In order to reach this aim, the teaching staff to get to know the new trends, the in-service trainings abroad provide an excellent opportunity, not only because they learn about them there, but also because the participants come from several countries, so sharing good practices and experiences is very useful for everyone. Our goal was not only to expand the knowledge of the participants, but also to develop their language competencies. In the case of our teachers, we saw an opportunity to learn about the good practices and methods used in vocational training abroad, and to gain experience, giving new impetus to their work, and incorporating it into their activities at home to a higher level. We believed that the project will also help to increase the willingness of our institution to innovate, to make both students and teachers more open and inclusive to new experiences, which will have a positive effect on our schooling.
