Objectives

The core objective was to expand the transnational connections of the school and to involve the colleagues into international project activity as a start. Through this: to better understand the Z-generation, to improve the target language competences of the language tachers, to improve the English language competences of the teachers of other subjects, to incorporate their gained experiences in the teaching activity, to improve the overall attitude to European values and to familiarise with new methodologies.

Background

The institution submitted its Staff Mobility grant application earlier. With the implementation of the project it managed to realise the first step of the strategic process in which the school will realise the improvement of its transnational relations by enabling some teaching staff members to gain experience in foreign EU countries and by integrating the valuable new experiences in their everyday activities – as a first step. This opportunity reinforces and complements the school’s student ERASMUS mobility, as more teacher staff can get involved into international programmes, this way improving their own and the institution’s competences.
