Objectives

With the implementation of the project, we wanted to achieve several goals: Increase their autonomy: It is also a challenge for students to spend longer periods away from their place of residence, to adapt to the foreign environment, culture, expectations of workplaces, guests. They have to navigate the transport system of a large city. With the help of their teachers, but still away from their families, they have to solve situations, possibly problems. Develop their professional knowledge: "Barber's shops" became very widespread in the region, and the school also chose the barber profession as a side qualification. Since this profession does not really have a tradition here, we would have liked hairdressing students to have learned as much as possible about it.In the training of beauticians, we would also like to follow the latest manual and machine technologies, to introduce new innovative materials. We wanted our students to be able to gain first-hand experience of all of this.We were confident that the palette of our professional knowledge would also be colored, and perhaps they would also encounter new work organization solutions. Develop their English language competence: We expected that during the mobility, the students' English language competence and communication skills would develop. Get acquainted with the cultural values and natural beauty of Milan and its surroundings Italy and Milan also abound in attractions, cultural values. We wanted our students to get an idea of this during the project. We were confident that there would be plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, museum visits, excursions around the city.

Background

One of the main strategic directions of our institution is to always provide the students of our school with an age-appropriate educational standard and to offer a broad perspective to the teachers teaching here with our pedagogical methods. Our primary goal is for students to gain new experiences within their own profession, and to learn about new procedures and methods both at home and abroad. We consider internationalization to be one of the main directions of our school. Our school has extensive experience in vocational training, but for the first time in the beauty sector, a longer study trip abroad has taken place. Previously, our students in the field of electronics-electrical engineering went on study trips abroad and returned home with positive experiences. We believed that students studying in the beauty sector, which has a large number of students in the school, should also be given the opportunity to gain experience abroad, expand their professional knowledge, show cultural values and strengthen language competences.
