The most important goal in both student and teacher mobility was to increase professional knowledge. In addition to getting to know and practicing modern professional technologies, it was important for the participants to develop their foreign language skills, to get to know the European work culture, and to expand their professional knowledge. The goal is to strengthen their intercultural and interpersonal competencies of the participants. In this way, we wanted our students to have more opportunities to start in their chosen profession, and our teachers to bring a high level of professional innovation to our institution.
The organization of European mobility in our institution has a history of almost twenty years. The internships of the students were followed by teacher training, which brought even more foreign experience into our professional and pedagogical activities. This new knowledge has generated innovation processes in our school, such as modification of curricula, incorporating quality assurance elements into our work, creating internal exam situations, and so on. There has been a fundamental need of the teaching community to add European content to our trainings so that mobility projects are an integral part of education. Thus, European projects were integrated into the school culture and became an important component of everyday work, so we developed a strategy to consciously form, expand and strengthen the international network. Our aim was to continue this innovative development in this project in order to further raise the standard of education in our institution, to make our courses even more attractive for primary school students who choose a career, and for students to enter the labor market with appropriate professional and personal competencies.
