Objectives

The primary objective of the project is to improve the quality of vocational education and training. Harmonizing school-based education with the needs of labor market is a long-term and complex task. However, it is clear that the coordinated work of VET participants is needed to carry out the desired development tasks. The study trip helped school and corporate participants to get to know a well-functioning educational structure from which they could implement good practice. To achieve our goal, practical trainers have acquired complex knowledge of learning outcomes-based exercises. Participants in each area received a 3 * 4 hour preparation to learn about the descriptors of MKKR and learning outcomes. With the help of an ECVET expert, they reviewed the vocational training documents related to their area and developed a monitoring system for the duration of the study visit. Part of an other preparation we provided participants an intercultural preparation that included professional language training. Using the organizational experience of previous study trips, we try to streamline financial and human resources related to implementation.

Background

One of the important tasks of Heves County Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to carry out vocational training, adult training, master's degree and related official duties. The experience gained during our work motivated the development of this project idea. Our needs surveys and satisfaction surveys have clearly indicated to us that practitioners in these areas have the most need for vocational and educational methodological support. So our target group is a building industry and automobile industry and catering. They are professionals who are currently work in VET practice at school or on corporate side, also in a school-based training or a master's degree.
