The main objective of the project was to give the students of our school an advantage in the labor market thanks to the experience and marketable knowledge gained abroad. It was important for them to get to know for example the German work ethic and the prudent work management, which is key to effective work. General objectives included: - improving foreign language communication skills, motivating language learning - improving skills for independent living - developing openness to foreign cultures Specific objectives included: - promoting students' knowledge of plants - learning about the design of themed gardens and parks - learning about potential uses of the plants produced - learning about the maintenance of public parks. The goal of the study trip for the teachers was to update the floral design curriculum taught at our school (based on international trends of room decoration) and to add new content (learning how to make wearable clothes and accessories from flowers/plants).
The goal of this project is to help the professional growth of the school's students and staff through internships or study visits abroad. Lack of motivation is a common phenomenon among students in vocational education, so the opportunity to travel abroad can create or strengthen a desire for lifelong learning. Our school has always had many disadvantaged students and we feel it is important to create an opportunity to travel the world for as many of them as possible.
