One of our main goals is to optimize our training according to the needs of the age. In terms of gaining professional experience, our goal was to compare our own practice with that of foreign partners, which helps to shed light on the further development direction of our institution. Exchanging and experiencing good practices helps to increase the professional competence of art teachers and students. The mobilities help the students get to know you, as well as the practical application of their foreign language knowledge. By implementing the project, our colleagues were also able to gain experience in the organization related to pedagogical work. Our goal was also to provide our art teachers with the opportunity to renew their independent creative activities, which was inspired by the international environment and getting to know local art and artists. We believe that by presenting successful mobilities, we can also increase our school's enrollment indicators and make our institution more attractive. Our goal is to create and long-term maintain the foundation of a European-level professional education in our institution, which prepares and provides an excellent foundation for university art education as well.
Our school has played a leading role in art education for 60 years. In addition to the preservation of our traditions, there was a need for methodological renewal, updating the knowledge of our art teachers. We also consider it important to maintain the interest of our students and increase their motivation, which is greatly helped by breaking away from the usual educational environment and experiencing the solution of real tasks in a real environment. Knowledge of contemporary international artists and trends, for which knowledge of one or more foreign languages is essential, contributes greatly to success in the art field - in addition to professional preparation. With high-level professional training and the establishment of international relations, we can train artists who, either after obtaining a professional qualification or after university training, can become decisive artists in their field and the cultural life. We consider it important that both our colleagues and students gain new professional experiences, experience the potential inspiring effect of environmental change, and give them the opportunity to recharge mentally. We saw an opportunity to achieve all of this in the vocational training Erasmus+ application.
