Our project deals with the issue of Obesity, which has spread in recent years as an epidemic and resulted in the death of many people. General description of obesity; The increase in the body's fat mass in proportion to the lean mass in the body results in an increase in weight over the height. Normally, 17% to 20% of body weight in adult men and 22% to 23% in adult women is composed of fat tissue. Our unhealthy lifestyle, which is caused by the decreasing daily movement amount of our developing technology and the factors like ready-to-use and fast-moving consumer products, causes obesity to spread day by day, which significantly reduces our living standards and quality. The World is Getting Fat The possibility of a person being obese today is three times higher than in 1975. If the current increase continues in 2027, 2out of every 6 people worldwide will be obese. Experts link the cause of the disease to the reduction of physical activity and unhealthy fast-moving products in the modernizing world. Research on the subject and the resulting statistics are as follows; Over the last 35 years, there has been a surprising increase in both obese and overweight adults (30%) and children (up to 49%) all over the world. The Global Burden of Disease Survey published in the Lancet is larger than 2014 and, according to the new review, the number of overweight and obese people increased from 910 million in 1985 to 2.1 billion in 2014. In countries with high income, the highest rate of increase in obesity in adults is obese in the US (about one-third of the adult population is obese), Australia (28% of men and 30% of women are obese) and in the UK (about a quarter of the adult population is obese) It was observed. Every year, 2.9 million people die due to obesity. Obesity has become increasingly widespread and became a public health problem, and it has started the struggle against obesity all over the world. The experts warn that this widespread prevalence of obesity in the whole world represents an alarming picture and urgently urges a joint action to reverse this trend.
