Mallow College has developed a European Plan of The School Development based on research conducted among learners, staff, stakeholders, and industry which defines the needs and goals to enhance the level of its work quality and international cooperation in the following areas: - increasing the professional, language and interpersonal competencies of students; - increasing labour mobility, taking into account the European labour market; - students’ tolerance and openness towards other cultures and nations; - broadening horizons and worldview; - increasing learning motivation among learners; - developing creativity and innovativeness; - internationalisation of the teaching process; - raising the level of vocational training and mobility of students on the European labour market; - social inclusion and employability; -Enhancing entrepreneurship through teaching & learning -putting education theory into practice; -Setting up long term VET mobilities;
Mallow College has been involved in a number of projects and is very involved in Erasmus + Programmes. The College can see the benefits these projects bring to the entire College community. Going forward the college plans to grow its partnerships and expand its European dimension.
