Objectives

CETB planned that staff at all levels within the organisation's VET provision would have the opportunity to participate in this project. This project would then give staff the opportunity to gain new experience in organising vocational training practice abroad, as well as valuable experience in projects accomplishment. A number of goals had been set out by CETB which it hoped to address in this project: 1. Develop and enhance digital technology through teaching and learning 2. Continued enhancement of social inclusion 3. Development of knowledge in apprenticeships and traineeships 4. Development of courses aimed at Under 25s- Design, develop and pilot best practice induction course, for use in VET colleges and centres, to motivate unemployed U25’s to re-enter full-time VET. To achieve these objectives we planned to work closely with our partners in Noorderpoort college to examine the most up to date VET structural and training delivery methodologies and engage in a high level of cooperation to enhance the capacity and professional expertise within both institutes.
