The main objective of the project is to go to Gothenburg to get acquainted with street youth work pave the way for the implementation of such work in the City of Reykjavík. With the implementation of the project, we hope to better understand the opportunities and challenges posed by establishing street youth work for young people who do not find themselves in traditional youth work and are likely to demonstrate greater risk behavior. We believe that by getting to know how another city has organized such activities in collaboration between youthworkers and welfare services, we will be better equipped follow in their footsteps.
