Background

This project came about as a follow-up to the TENORETE 4.0 project, which was very successful in the Lucca area, as the first international mobility initiative jointly presented by the consortium, and in line with the need to equip the Lucca and Tuscan production sector with professional skills that meet the needs of smart factory 4.0. The consortium was once again formed and saw the participation of Polo Fermi-Giorgi, ISI Garfagnana, IIS Galilei-Artiglio, ITT Ferrari and also ISI Marchi Forti. The Consortium, in its European Development Plan, has defined two macro-objectives: to enhance the proessional profile of the mechatronics technician 4.0 through international-level on-the-job learning paths, and to bridge the gap that still exists between vocational training and the world of enterprise 4.0, by internationalising skills and enterprises. In continuity with the local interhiships offers of the sending institutes, the aim of the project was to enrich the participants' preparation to face the demands of the local labour market and to acquire independence and maturity in their personal choices.
