The choice of the institutes involved (inter-regional perspective) also highlights another fundamental aspect: all are located in the Apennine area and share common problems: 1. fragility of the territories, with a focus on the hydrogeological system, (resource and technological point of view) 2. absence of significant industrial poles that can guarantee innovation to SMEs in the area. Therefore, the focus on "WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN A SUSTAINABILITY OPTICS," aims at, and needs, the development of the European Dimension of each member in order to transfer innovations in the processes of water risk management and, consequently, in the definition of curricula. The interdisciplinary approach adopted envisaged in the project requires curricular planning on several lines of study related to the different aspects of water resources and interaction with companies and entities that actually responded with great participation to the proposed collaboration
