Objectives

The main consortium objectives primarily concerned students involved, then 100 of the IV classes and 21 recent graduates. An internship experience in European contexts undoubtedly contributes to developing international skills and the subsequent process of transparency through the ECVET system has further enhanced the experience at the level of formal recognition. The possibility of carrying out an internship in European contexts has allowed companies to approach training contexts, putting two areas in direct communication (school and work) that are sometimes still distant and with different languages. Students experience then had objective and important repercussions on the entire school system, helping to increase the skills of the entire school staff who get involved and deal with national and international regulations. In general, the consortium therefore set itself the objective of stimulating the entire Triveneto area, also through the participation in the project of social partners, local consortia and companies such as Collalto.

Background

The schools of the Terroir project consortium all belong to the Triveneto area and they are connected, each in a different and peculiar way, to the wine production chain and more specifically to the production of prosecco, an excellence globally recognized. These realities intrinsically bring within themselves a series of values, objectives and expectations connected not only to the more concrete agricultural and wine production, but to the entire social system of promotion and enhancement of the origin territory. There is therefore a clear need to develop wide-ranging European and international profiles within educational institutions, which, starting from the local experience of the territory, bring an innovative vision to access global markets. The central nucleus of the Terroir project was born from this need to enhance the professional profiles, which involved three territories: the area of Conegliano-Valdobbiane, Cividale del Friuli and San Michele all'Adige.
