The short-term objective of the project was to create a partnership that would have provided students from the territory, and in particular from the partner institutions, with an opportunity to enhance the competences and the skills of 90 recipients of the 5th year, for the short mobility, and of another 12 recipients, for the long mobility, among graduating students within one year from high school. They enhanced their competences related to the CAD (Aided Drafting and Computer) application package in the electronic and electrotechnical field, with one (short-term mobility) and four-month (Erasmus PRO) traineeships respectively, involving also BES students and fewer opportunities indicated by the schools. For these students a total of 36 scholarships have been allocated with accompanying persons for each flow. The medium-long term objectives of the project were: reducing the rate of school drop-outs by increasing the attractiveness and internationalisation of the schools with high quality and professional courses carried out in an inclusive manner; reducing the NEET phenomenon and youth unemployment by increasing the employability of the students.
The project Cad+ was designed to create a strategic partnership which brings together the world of work, represented by Marea scarl, the world of education represented by Ist. Righi and a public-private partnership including companies, universities and research bodies. Through this strategic partnership, the project’s purpose was to provide students with concrete opportunities to increase their professional, linguistic and digital skills in order to enter the labour market and, in particular, to respond to the strong demand on the market for professional figures in Computer-Aided Design in the electronic and electrotechnical field. The project tried to reach this goal with internships of one (short-term mobility) and four months (Erasmus PRO) respectively. The mission was to qualify resources in order to bring them closer to the labour market, but also to solve problems linked to: the high school drop-out rates of the Campania region which is mainly due to socio-economic-cultural discomfort and strong social exclusion by increasing the attractiveness and the internationalisation of the institutes; the decrease of Neet in the area and youth unemployment.
