The PROMOL 2K19 project had the following objectives: - Provide participants with adequate skills in the TOURISM field, combining production capacities and services offered that allow them to identify the most appropriate solutions to enable companies in the sector to remain competitive in the labour market; - Promoting the transparency of learning and the matching of training to the needs of businesses and professions in order to facilitate the matching of labour supply and demand and increase the productivity and competitiveness of the Molise tourism production system; - Extend the usability of qualifications at national and European level in order to facilitate geographical and professional mobility, also with a view to the internationalisation of the companies and professions; - Promote long-term international experiences (such as Erasmus Pro), thanks to which participants can develop not only professional skills in the sector but also adequate language knowledge, transversal skills and key competences enabling them to adapt quickly within a rapidly changing labour market and to be resilient.
The Molise Region - through the international mobility action envisaged by the PROMOL 2K19 project - has offered to 75 secondary school young students from the region and/or those enrolled in Vocational Education and Training courses and to 76 recent VET school graduates / newly qualified students the opportunity to carry out a professional mobility experience in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Malta. The participants were following or had just finished (for no more than one year) a pathway of education and training in the TOURISM and CATERING sector and undertook an international mobility experience of 1 MONTH (STUDENTS, also with special needs) and 3 MONTHS (RECENT GRADUATES / NEWLY QUALIFIED). The PROMOL 2K19 project is part of the 2017-2020 STRATEGY OF INTERNATIONALIZATION of the Molise Region, one of the objectives of which is to facilitate the development and innovation of the region's human capital, supporting the international mobility of people (particularly young students, new graduates and newly qualified people), so as to contribute positively to the employability of citizens and to the strengthening of the processes of internationalization of the economy (particularly tourism) of the Molise region.
