Background

The "WARRIOR" project proposal, in compliance with the Internationalization Strategy of the Lepido Rocco Foundation described in the VET Mobility Charter 2017-2020 (pages 10-13-16), pursued the aim of training in the period 2019-20, nr. 180 Students (including Apprentices), selected from: - students attending the 3rd-4th year 2019/20 of the 5 CFP Lepido Rocco on the VENETO TERRITORY, in the sectors "mechanical, electrical-electronic, IT, tourism-hotel, business / administrative / sales services, services to the person / aesthetic-hairdressing, food, graphic, wood "; - students attending the III ° -IV ° year of IIST-Professional, on the NATIONAL TERRITORY, address "ICT-Robotics", "Econ.-tourism", "Mechanics / mechatronics", "Electronics-electrical engineering" identified through a NATIONAL TENDER . Young people with knowledge of the EN / or other LS language (Lev.B1 / CFP, B2 / IIT), use CLIL in curricular planning with enhancement of intercultural and relational axes, inserted in school-work alternation actions. - no. 10 among Teachers-Trainers-DS of the same CFP-IIS (with suitable curriculum), on "innovative approaches and skills assessment tools" with the aim of "Rethinking: interdisciplinary design models", in which the role of digital ( Digital Opportunity / quantum intelligence) was that of facilitator for dealing effectively with an increasingly accelerated and complex society, globalized in relationships, and where scientific development, the growth of migratory flows, the transformations of family structures and social behaviors, pose new challenges and needs. The mobility of (180 + 10) was structured as follows: - for 178 students with a 5-week internship and for 2 students with a 4-month internship in the following EU countries: Denmark, FR, IR, MT, GR, PT, SK, ES, Germany, Austria. The goal was to acquire professional skills, compliant with the employment needs foreseen in 2020 (Excelsior UNIONCAMERE) which had 25200 recruitments of "retail sales clerks" in 2019; + 9.8% for waiters, + 7.6% bartenders, + 125.9% ICT. About 37% of the workforce was currently lacking sufficient and increasingly necessary digital skills in the world of work. On the contrary, about 40% of companies, many of them SMEs, reported difficulties in recruiting experts in the ICT sector (Source: Salzano, Indire). - (for the STAFF): 5 teachers with the task of following 5 + 2 training days (on "empathic teaching methodologies", European planning) in Thessaloniki (didactic visits and experiential moments with IIT, VET, SME with a meeting with the Acting Director by CEFOP M.Brugia); 5 teachers assigned to carry out 5 + 2 training days in Madrid (specialized training with didactic visits-structured meetings, conferences at universities, institutes, local companies). Finally, the Lepido Rocco Foundation, in order to explain as exhaustively as possible, wishes to report a summary of the achieved objectives through the mobilities covered by this project. The mobility offer was designed and aimed at: - students attending the 3rd-4th year 2019/20 of the 5 CFP Lepido Rocco on the VENETO TERRITORY, in the sectors "mechanical, electrical-electronic information technology, tourism-hotel, business / administrative / sales services, personal services / aesthetics-hairdressing, food, graphics and wood; - students attending the III ° -IV ° year of IIST-Professional, on the NATIONAL TERRITORY, address "ICT-Robotics", "Tourist Economics", "Mechanics / mechatronics" and "Electronics-electrotechnics" (identified through a NATIONAL CALL) . Students will have knowledge of the EN / or other LS language (Lev.B1 / CFP, B2 / IIT) and use CLIL in curricular planning included in school-work alternation actions. - no. 10 Teachers: Teachers-Trainers-DS of the same CFP-IIS (with suitable curriculum), on "innovative approaches and tools for assessing skills and interdisciplinary planning. Lepido Rocco Foundation believes that the objectives set have been largely achieved. Through the figure of the 10 trainers and tutors, who followed and accompanied the students throughout the mobility, it was possible to put the students in a position to relate effectively with a society that is increasingly accelerated and complex and globalized in relationships. Furthermore, an attempt was made to encourage scientific and technological development directly through the internships carried out on site by the students themselves, considering that the growth of migratory flows, the transformations of family structures and social behaviors, pose new challenges and needs. After a careful analysis of the school address and / or the professional figure, young people had the opportunity to carry out, in the various host countries, an internship in companies operating in different sectors (tourism, customer reception, IT, well-being and care of person ,, mechanic, electronic-computer, agri-food, retail, graphic and woodworking). This allowed them to live in close contact with the local language and culture, to share experiences, knowledge and their cultural background, but not only: the students had in fact the opportunity to get to know the social context and understand the cultural one, to deepen the working reality and acquire professional skills, in accordance with occupational needs. For some of the participating students, moreover, good long-term opportunities have emerged, which will then be evaluated compatibly with their various school commitments. The school sector of origin of the students has already been declared and explained, Fondazione Lepido Rocco wishes to highlight the excellent feedback received from the host companies in the various European countries, which have welcomed and collaborated with our students, recognizing their professionality, preparation, good will and the ability to get involved. The participant, for their part, lived the experience abroad as a professional and training enrichment not only in the workplace, but also from a personal point of view, seeing their capacity for autonomy and organization increased, as well as their personal maturity. We must remember that the start of the project was scheduled for the year 2019: the Lepido Rocco Foundation had therefore started the selections, incurring costs and assigned OLS licenses. Due to the Sars COV-19 pandemic, the project was suspended and then resumed when the number of infections allowed. This led to the fact that the Foundation had to bear double costs for selections and other charges and that OLS licenses were assigned which were then unused/or used by students who refused to leave the following year. However, in the face of an improvement in the pandemic situation and on the strength of the success of the project, Fondazione Lepido Rocco has recognized the need to forward the request to the Authority in charge, (INAPP), for further licenses, in order to be able to expand its offer to children. Unfortunately, however, the unexpected increase in infections led those who had shown interest in taking part in the project, to postpone their adhesion to more favorable and / or suitable times. This meant that the licenses remained unused. Here are some specific notes on the mobility implemented: The Lepido Rocco Foundation, in view of the success of all the motilities, wishes, in particular, to mention the European partners with whom it has collaborated in a fruitful and effective way: - Your International Training, Ireland Mallow - Cap Ulysse, France Bordeaux - Camara de Comercio and Italian Industry para Espana, Spain Madrid - Italian Chamber of Commerce for Portugal, Portugal Lisboa - Det dansk-italienske Handelskammer i Danmark, Denmark Copenhagen - Italienische Handelskammer München-Stuttgart German-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Germany München - ETN Training Vision Ireland, Ireland Cork - Papagrigoriu Theodoros, Greece Thessaloniki - Tellus Spain SL, Spain Salamanca - Zoumi Georgia, Greece Iraklion. Other European partners are also indicated with which the Lepido Rocco Foundation had collaborated in the past and which, due to the ongoing pandemic situation, were unable to welcome students: - AusTraining Lern Ziel GmbH, Austria Wien - Paragon Limited, Malta Mosta - Malta Vocational Center, Malta Sliema - Brovedani Slovakia SRO, Slovakia Galanta. Thanks to constant work and precious collaboration with European partners, the Lepido Rocco Foundation has managed to assign mobility to students, tutors and staff (for better clarification, see the detail in point 2), thus allowing them to to come into close contact with the cultural and social aspect, to get to know the professional and training / specialization realities, but above all to make available and make known their skills and professionalism in the companies of the host countries, such as: - Denmark (Copenhagen), France (Bordeaux), Germany (Munich), Greece (Crete, Thessaloniki), Ireland (Cork and Mallow), Portugal (Lisbon), Spain (Lugo and Salamanca). For better clarification, a subdivision of mobility by destination is attached: - Denmark, Copenhagen, nr. 05 students in short term Vet Learners; - France, Bordeaux, no. 10 students in short term Vet Learners; - Greece, Thessaloniki and Crete, 24 students in short term Vet Learners; - Ireland, Cork and Mallow nr. 41 students in short term Vet Learners; - Portugal, Lisbon, nr. 59 students in short term Vet Learners; - Spain, Lugo, Salamanca nr. 32 students in short term Vet Learners; - Germany, Munich nr. 02 students in long term Vet Learners. - no. 10 of staff training abroad - no. 05 teachers without grant We also recall the fundamental importance of the role of the tutors, who followed and supported the students during their stay abroad and during the internship period and thus allowed the serene management of the grants, intervening effectively in the few cases in to whom the covid situation has prevented him from returning, as scheduled, thus proving to be an extremely valid and precious figure first of all for the students. It is also known that, due to the pandemic situation, as already described, some foreign partners were unable to host the mobility children in question and therefore a change of partners was necessary, which proved to be profitable and advantageous. Lepido Rocco Foundation has in fact begun to actively cooperate with ZOUMI GEORGIA MD-HELLAS, sending a group of young people to Crete. This experience proved to be edifying and educational, in all respects, professional, cultural, formative and didactic. Furthermore, it should be noted that, given the success of the project and the participation of the children, the Authority had recognized the need to submit a request for additional licenses, which unfortunately, given the persistence of the pandemic and the increase in infections, unfortunately remained unused, as some students and their families did not feel like joining the project anymore.
