The realization of the project “C.H.A.L.L.E.N.G.E.S.” has allowed the achievement of the following objectives: - enhancing school-work alternation activities as a link with the world of work. - enhancing the language skills of teachers and ATA staff to ensure the development of European partnerships for the presentation of new project proposals and for the management of teaching and administrative activities. - enhancing the IT skills of ATA staff, to start the digitalization processes, and of teaching staff for educational purposes. - introducing new teaching methods based on learning by doing, role playing and project work, to improve school performance. - increasing the school capacity for international cooperation. - diversifying and expanding the training offer.
The Higher Secondary Education Institute “Ten. Righetti”, located in Melfi, with the project “C.H.A.L.L.E.N.G.E.S.: new approaCHes, duAL system and schooL- work altErnation forlearNing of tEacherS”, wanted to intervene in a context with a high rate of youth unemployment, wanting to train its students as highly qualified and more required by the labor market, thanks to the employment opportunities offered by local companies. For this reason, the project “C.H.A.L.L.E.N.G.E.S.” was conceived with the aim of guaranteeing a preparation of its teachers, which would allow the school to keep up with innovations and with the required national and international standards, especially from a pedagogical and linguistic point of view, and of the ATA staff to improve administrative processes.
