Among the macro-objectives that the project "Da.N.T.E." aimed to achieve, there were: - empowering the use of innovative teaching techniques aimed at reducing the rate of school failure in the 3rd and 4th classes of the IPSAA, and the development of key European learners' skills. - ensuring the planning of training paths related to the socio-economic context, through greater interaction with companies and organizations in the area. - increasing the use of tools that allow a permanent orientation towards single learners. - strengthening the language skills of the beneficiaries, to increase the exchange of best practices and know-how with foreign counterparts and the paths of internships abroad.
The initiative of the project KA1 - "Da.N.T.E. - DevelopiNg beTter skills for a bEtter school " (2019-1-IT02-KA101-061113), related to the School Education of the Erasmus Program, carried out by the school “Istituto Agrario Firenze”, started in 2019. Although the “Istituto Agrario Firenze” is placed in an active socio-economic context, especially with respect to the agri-food sector, it cannot guarantee an adequate scholastic and working success to its students, as it is anchored to traditional teaching methods that prevent the correct implementation of a competence-oriented learning, as required by the strategic framework Education and Training 2020. Aware of these difficulties, the DS and the collegial bodies, have highlighted the need to improve language skills and teaching approaches of its staff, developing "Da.N.T.E.", an international training project that focused on key competences of citizenship, active methodological innovation and CLIL methodology.
