"T.R.I.P." aimed to achieve the following specific objectives: - to promote refresher courses for teachers that are consistent with the need for training, encouraging the learning of teaching methods and educational practices aimed at enhancing their professionalism. - to increase the scope for work-based learning agreements and activities at school by encouraging the creation of partnerships with European companies and acquiring specific skills for the design of such activities. - to strengthen the language skills of the school staff. - increase the use of active methodologies such as role-playing, flipped classroom, and cooperative learning. - to improve the use of digital and innovative tools by all school staff, both teaching, administrative and managerial. - to reduce the phenomenon of bullying by using educational practices that focus on key European competencies.
The project proposal "T.R.I.P. - Training teachers to Increase Pupils potential", n. 2019-1-IT02-KA101-061182, was promoted by the IISS "Cesare Battisti" under the Erasmus+ 2019 call with the intention of making a decisive contribution to the difficulties encountered in terms of low student participation, collaboration between school and families, and more generally in the management of the conflict "fragile" pupils. As indicated in the 2019 Self-Assessment Report, and especially from the perspective of key European competencies and citizenship, teachers lacked specific training on the topic of inclusion. The field of action of "T.R.I.P." has been articulated, therefore, on two parallel but complementary tracks: involving teachers in specific training activities on the theme of inclusion, and stakeholder engagement; promoting initiatives to update teachers, with attention to the learning of teaching methodologies aimed at enhancing their professionalism.
