Background

The Istituto Omnicomprensivo di Bobbio is a small and isolated rural school composed of 14 buildings on 70 km of road and a total of 480 pupils, aged 3 to 18. The school now includes 4 levels of education, although at the time of the submission the secondary school was not yet part of the then Istituto Omnicomprensivo. The school began a strong Europeanisation process in 2013, which, together with ministerial actions such as the PNSD, has led it to achieve generally good results in the methodological and digital fields, even though the innovative vision developed in Erasmus is not systemic and widespread among all teachers. Nevertheless, fragmentation and turnover on the one hand, and mature teachers on the other, needed a further push towards innovation that would lead to a more cohesive system. It was therefore decided to focus on methods and English language, bot for general and english teachers, to strengthen and give continuity to the action.
