Background

The Comprehensive Institute of Moretta applied for this project to meet the training needs of teaching staff and staff, based on the needs identified in the areas of improvement and specified in the RAV and PTOF documents. The institute aims, in fact, to strengthen language skills to facilitate exchanges with European partners and mobility; promote active and sustainable citizenship skills; develop digital skills; prevent school drop-out; and pay attention to inclusion and the right to study of pupils with special educational needs. The methodological and language courses that the teachers have carried out abroad and the JS activities have enabled the implementation of innovative teaching methods and wide-ranging multicultural and inclusive projects, with a view to accelerating the upgrading of our educational supply plan. In addition, the JSU considered it fundamental to make room for the implementation of activities that would enable teachers and learners to broaden their cultural horizons, as openness towards Europe is considered a factor of great importance for future generations.
