Objectives

This project activity allowed the beneficiary teachers to: - to initiate more motivating and inclusive teaching processes that cannot fail to favor the virtuous circle of students' academic success and the reduction of dropouts; - to become particularly familiar with full-time connectivity methods and techniques for internal and external sharing of best practices; - thanks to the specific training received and the opportunities they have had to monitor the use of innovative strategies during shared mobility, teachers are able to gradually experiment with a new teaching method once: - the improvement of language skills, the ability to work in a team, the ability to interact with colleagues from other countries. - the realization of the idea, contemplated by the objectives of this project, of training small staff of teachers able to disseminate the acquired skills to the rest of the teachers.

Background

We applied for this project to enhance the know-how of the teaching class and build a more qualified staff for both internal support for teachers and students, and external by creating a network of local authorities where to place the new professionalism of students. From the survey of the needs, obtained at the beginning of the year thanks to the administration of motivational tests, the need emerged across the departmental areas to: acquire skills in innovative teaching methodologies for foreign languages, given the too high number of students who finish the curriculum with low levels of spoken foreign language skills; to favor the diffusion of the CLIL methodology still little practiced among the teachers of the non-linguistic disciplines; - strengthen interventions for the inclusion of Bes and foreign students; counteract the still too high numbers of school failure through the involvement of families for the creation of an effective didactic alliance.
