Background

From the analysis of the RAV, the meeting with the DS and the entire school community, it was necessary for IIS Da Vinci to enhance talents, to personalize teaching, and, in order to do so, a more prepared teaching staff, keeping up with the times, sensitive to innovations and attentive to the European dimension was needed. Moreover, it was noticed that only a few teachers within the school met these requirements, despite the fact that the institute is the leader of a KA2 and has been promoting an international festival for 11 years. For all these reasons, the Erasmus Team thought that opening up to more countries in Europe, consolidating English and studying a second community language, as well as getting in touch with the cultural identity of other nations, could be a good opportunity for both teachers and students, and for these reasons, it decided to select a series of motivated teachers, representing the various disciplines within the institute in order to have a positive impact on the entire school community. The training courses were chosen according to the emerging needs, selecting those that could make a significant contribution to the renewal of the school.
