The main objectives of this projects are: 1) to create an inclusive and equal learning setting, above all for students with fewer opportunities as migrants, students with special needs, foreign students and disables; 2) to give to the students new and innovative skills to enter in the labour market (digital, social, communicative and professional competencies;. 3) to create a group of innovative teachers able to use more innovative teaching approaches, to make learning process easier through ICT tools and new settings. The main and general objective of the project is to give to all students equal opportunities, even if they are different in needs, skills and style of learning, to avoid each form of discrimination. This is the basis of inclusion in our society where migrants and foreign people are often not accepted because of their diversity.
"Olivetti" vocational school has 18% of foreign students and this data is increasing year by year. 20% of students in each class doesn't know Italian language; this number increases above all in the 1st and in the 2nd grade where NAI (foreing students who don't speak Italian) has to learn Italian as a new language. This data is a problem for teaching activities. In the last years, ICT tools are increasing: all classes have white or digital boards; there 2 brand new ICT Labs but teachers needed to be trained in technologies and new methodologies to make easier learning process for our native digital students, Regarding the foreign languages, teachers in the vocational subjects had no competencies about CLIL methodology and they needed a specific training on it.
