Objectives

We wanted to achieve the following objectives: • to improve the knowledge of the English language for communicative reasons; • to promote new skills and competencies for the administration and technical staff in order to upgrade the running and administration of the school; • to explore intercultural competencies promoting tolerance and respect for different cultures; • to strengthen a multidisciplinary approach to improve CLIL methodology; • to upgrade students' motivation; • to become more confident with teaching new topics to non-native speakers; • to create an international network of relationships in order to cooperate with foreign institutions and associations; • to facilitate mobility and innovation for the students.

Background

We applied for this project because the Erasmus Plus program could offer us a great opportunity to have experiences abroad and improve teachers' and school staff's knowledge of the English language as well as skills and competencies. In this way, we could become more open and inclusive and therefore more ‘European-oriented'. In addition, we wanted to stimulate our students to take part in mobility programs in the future with the knowledge and skills acquired abroad.
